Sam Bregman, Partner

Sam Bregman is currently the co-owner of the Albuquerque Thunderbirds basketball team. The "T-Birds" are part of the National Basketball Association Development League, or the D-League, as it's called in sports circles. Sam has been the owner since 2006. Sam runs the Albuquerque office of Bregman Pierce Sports LLC. Sam is the founder of the law firm of Bregman & Loman, P.C., one of the leading litigation law firms in the Southwest. He earned his B.A. and his J.D. law degree from the University of New Mexico.

Steve Pierce, Partner

Steve Pierce founded the company in 1981 under the name Pierce & Associates and now runs the Scottsdale and Chicago areas for Bregman Pierce Sports LLC. Steve has represented hundreds of major league clients and maintains relationships with over 300 general managers, farm directors, and scouting directors for negotiations at the major league level and during the June draft. Steve has also been involved in preparation for salary arbitration when a player has three years of major league service. Steve holds a B.A. degree from Northeastern Illinois University.

Lisa Pierce, Partner

Lisa Pierce, an attorney, specializes in contract negotiation and arbitration, as well as client development. She advises professional baseball players and their families on the draft process, and she works closely with clients during the transition process. Lisa runs the Los Angeles office of Bregman Pierce Sports LLC. Lisa earned her B.A. degree from Smith College and her J.D. law degree from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Since 1996, when she was admitted to the bar in California, Lisa has enjoyed a successful career as a trial attorney in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
